Is Bynefit free to use?
Yes. The Hearth plan is free forever and needs no credit card. Up to 50 members, 8 events/month, and 2 admin seats at no cost.
What are staff seats?
Staff seats are for the admins and managers who run the team. They send blasts, approve members, organize events and see financial data. Regular members do not count against this limit. Each plan includes a set number of seats, and extra seats cost $9/seat/month.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade from Billing at any time. The change takes effect right away. Your existing members and data are never removed.
What happens if I exceed my member or seat limit?
You'll be asked to upgrade before you can add more members or promote staff. Nothing is deleted. You can upgrade your plan or buy an extra seat.
Is the Square plan only for political campaigns?
No. Square is for any organization that needs the full toolset, including phone banks, canvassing, voter registration, multi-chapter networks and large volunteer operations. Nonprofits, civic leagues, advocacy groups and issue campaigns all use it.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits?
Yes. Nonprofits and registered charities get discounted pricing. Contact support with your EIN or charity registration number to apply.
Is there a contract or commitment?
There are no contracts. All paid plans are month-to-month, and annual billing saves up to 20%. You can cancel anytime with no fee.
Do I need a domain to use Bynefit?
No. Every team gets a free site at yourslug.site.bynefit.com from day one, with SSL included. A custom domain is an optional add-on for $2.99/mo (or $35.88/yr).
